Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This crowd have been advertising in Irish local papers however their site looks like it was wipped together by a 5 year old and their visitor count was like 162 when I checked. So I don't know what the story is with them but they could well be resellers of a genuine system, but theres no information available there. I might mail them and ask them what satellite and transponder it uses so I can find out exactly what service it is.

Satellite internet sounds nice. The only problem with this is the mental prices. I for one won't be able to afford this. As I said in the IoffL forum, over £2,600 for first year is a bit over the top. This will only be suitable for business use. Although, it may drop in price when it is out a while.

Looks too pants to be genuine.

    But £99????

    Aaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa...

    Stupid price.

For all your satellite Internet needs, get Tiscali when it comes out in about 2-3 months.

    512kbs download, 128 up. £50 per month.

    Enough said. smile.gif

Tiscali is up to 400k downloads, with peak rate speeds of only 150k approx.
