    If anyone wants to add another music channel to balance out the R'n'B/rock/nu-metal/rap, Smash! Hits TV is now testing on:

    11.758H.

    No idea when it's to be added to the EPG, but it does have a phone number on screen, text and the EPG banner (no Irish one yet, should follow like the other Emaps) - previously when they've tested Kerrang! and Kiss, there was an 09001 XXX XXX listed on the EPG banner.

    If you hate pop, you ought to ignore this message, BTW!

    The more choice, the better. But I really wonder how many music channels can be supported.

    It seems that Smash Hits TV will have a very similar playlist to The Box. Maybe we'd be better off with a music channel featuring jazz, blues or some other style that isn't already catered for (apart from on Music Choice).

    Smash Hits TV is on the EPG (programmes start at 5 pm today) on 451, as is FTV (Fashion TV)which is on 220.
