Sky Digital on Continental Europe

    I was in Malaga (Spain) last week and noticed vans advertising 'official Sky digital' installer. I always thought Sky Digital was only legally available in the Uk and Ireland. What's the official line from Sky? Are the BBC channels also available on mainland Europe via Sky?
    Every pub I visited had Sky Sports Digital available.
    I also read today that BBC is closing down its Ceefax service soon (check SkyText, P152).

    Hi, "officially" Sky is only available in The UK and Ireland although I know many people who use their "home" address to obtain a box and card and then bring it with them.

    I was referring to the sky channels like movie sports etc if you read a contract it states this specifically.
