    Guys,

I was looking at he back of my Digibox last night and noticed there is a 2nd rf out on it. There is a power rating beside it of 9v. Whats the story with this? The Digibox was installed about 2 weeks ago and I think the manual was thrown out with the box.

(By the way its a Grundig Digibox, the new silver one)

    Thanks

The second RF out can be used to connect up a second TV to the digibox. You have to watch whatever digital channel the box is set to (or if you have an aerial connected any regular channel). The digital channel will be in mono only for some unknown reason.

The 9v power rating is for the TV-Link thingy which enables you to change channels on the digibox from the second TV point via a little infra-red box. This box is powered through the cable by the 9v. It can be turned on at the installers menu (Press services then 4 - 0 - 1 Select). However don't turn it on unless you have a TV link attached. You may set fire to the place.

As it happens you probably wouldn't have found that information in the default digibox manual anyway.

Thanks guys. Didn't know what the 9v rating was for. And didn't want to connect anything to it and watch the curtains go up!!
