And in the other languages, if so desired. Simple select the language you want from Services -> 4 -> 3 (Language and Subtitles) and you can have French, German, Spanish as well as English.

Gopher - your post is timestamped for 15 minutes ago and EuroNews is coming through loud and clear here. Check your signal strength and quality. If they're very low, you may not get a clear signal. Astra 2D has a narrower, less powerful beam, so the channels may be more prone to fluctuations. What size is your dish? If its the standard Irish 80cm one, I can't see how you'd have a problem if it's properly aligned. If it's smaller, as in the UK, it may be tougher. I believe some dishes in Dublin are 60cm as it's closer to the UK and the centre of the Astra beam.

I have the normal sized minidish.Astra 2D u say?I thought Euronews was coming from Eurobird.Strange that i could get it a few weeks ago.I can recieve the czech channels on eurobird if that helps.

Sorry, my mistake - for some reason I thought it had moved to Astra 2D. You're right - it's still on Eurobird. If you can receive the Czech channels - not everyone can - you should be fine for EuroNews. You say you had it a few weeks ago. It has changed transponders AFAIK since that test, so you may need to retune. It's currently at 11.681V.

When i try this it says no signal found. Also, when i tried to retune the czech channels[still have them but wanted to see if i could tune in again]i got the message no signal found.Maybe it works on principal that it cant retune while already stored.Ill remove euronews and try retuning it.Signal strength is 50-70 percent.

It will be nice to finally see Euronews on the EPG. Do you know when GameNetwork will appear on EPG? I hear that it'll be on EPG223.

I guess Euronews will be on 528 as it is the next after ITN News and before Discovery (which I notice is now 24-hour)

I have just tried changing the language settings to German and went back 2 EuroNews to find it in German. I think this language option is very handy for European ppl living in UK/IRL. I know that analog had this option but I didn't know digital did. Does anyone know if any other channels has more than 1 language?

S4C2 has the option of either Welsh or English during the promo (which seems to be all the time)

    From JC:

"S4C2 has the option of either Welsh or English during the promo (which seems to be all the time)"

One of the few channels also (with S4C) which will also allow you to hear a commentary in one langauge (and view subtitles in another.
