Okay lets list what channels we'd like to see on Sky.

I was in Florida last year and came across a great Country Music channel called CMT.(not the riddley diddly stuff but American country and it rocked), I'd love to see this.

    Anyone else have suggestions...?

i remember seeing CMT when there was a European version of it. what i would like to see on Sky is a typical American news channel to see what the difference is really like. i'm hoping Fox News joins Sky in the future seeing as it is already available in some parts of Europe

CMT was on Sky analogue in the past but the marketing guys got it completely wrong and targeted the 50+ age group with ads for pensions/stairlifts etc when in fact the audience was a lot younger, so anyway they ran out of money and sold the transponder lease. I really miss it, lots of rockin country and southern rock and Daniel O' donnell nowhere to be seen.

And if I remember correctly, RTE relayed CMT Europe at lunchtimes at one point.

U are right there Ronan as I remember CMT being aired in afternoons on Network 2. To be honest, I couldn't stand the channel and its music but there are obviously plenty who would like it judging by the success of Garth Brooks and Shania Twain, etc........

Anyone else have channels they'd like to see again?

I dont remember CMT on Net2. And I have to say Garth & Shania don't do it for me neither. There are plenty others on it though.

Like Mossy Monk I'd like to see Fox News or even regular CNN (as opposed to CNN International).

I'd also be happy if ITV2 joined Sky Digital because I miss David Letterman's show. Hopefully it'll come on when ITV joins later this year and we'll be able to receive it in the Republic.
