    Hi folks,

    BBC 2 Northern Ireland is now testing on 11.798H 27500 2/3, and is viewable to us Irish Sky Digital subscribers. It's showing in the widescreen style that BBC 1 does.

    The other BBC 2 Nations (Scotland and Wales) are also testing but when selected in "Other Channels" they show that message that we're so used to here in the Republic - "This Channel Is Not Available".

    By the way, has anyone else noticed how quiet it's got on the forum lately ? I think we're missing Big Tanya.

    Thanks for the BBC2 tip off Charles.

    I agree that the forums are a lot quieter now that of late. Possibly Big Tanyas absence, but also quite a lot less news going on. Over the past 2 months we had all the BBC and Irish terrestrial excitements. Kinda quite now...

    Mark.

    Cheers Charles 4 the info. Tanya's absence is noticable as she posted alot but there is less to talk about although no1 seems to be taking much interest in the RTÉ/TV3 rumours

    It's good to have BBC2 available, even if it is only testing. I note there are no programmes being blanked out, like BBC1 had when it was being tested recently.

    Has anyone any updates whatsoever on C4 coming onstream, and if UTV have indicated that they may join when ITV comes on board later this year (apart from the 'official' replies from the broadcasters themselves)?

    As of 5pm today, BBC2ni had gone off.
    It was on at luchtime, so maybe they'll leave it off until it officially launches on Monday.

    Tis a pity it stopped. I was getting used to it!! <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src="../www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif" ALT=":)" OLDREF="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END-->
    No word of RTÉ tests on A1D or any other sat. No talk of C4 anymore either. Pity as I'd really love this channel.
