    I have started to get (just tonight) really AWFUL quality on the sky system. No channel is watchable, with pixeling and freezes happeneing every 30 seconds!!

    Checking the signal strength and quality, I would guess that strength is about 25% and quality is about 10%.

    Any ideas? Could this be weather? Could my dish have moved? We've had it installed for 2 years with no issue.

    Thanks,
    Mark.

    AMAZING.

    30 seconds after posting this, the picture suddenly fixed itself. Strength is about the same still, but quality is up at about 60%.

    Sky must monitor this forum !!! <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START ;) --><img src="../www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif" ALT=";)" OLDREF="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END-->

    Bad weather like heavy rain or wind can cause.Ive had about 25%quality since heavy rain a week ago.Ive been meaning to get on the ladder and twitch it a bit.Usually works.

    It's no wonder your picture is blocky with that signal!! You need at least 50% Signal Quality to be on safe side. I suggest resetting the minidish. Or maybe there is dirt on cap of LNB from birds!! <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src="../www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif" ALT=":)" OLDREF="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END-->

    I was watching TV earlier this morning and the same thing happened. I actually lost lock indicator. No channel worked. Zero signal. I went out the back and took a look at the dish. A bloody crow was sitting on the arm of the dish, blocking the lnb completely !!

    Anyone got a pellet gun I could borrow?

    I wasn't far out by mentioning birds! I wonder if there is some kind of deterrent to stop birds perching on dishes (apart from pellet guns)! <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src="../www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif" ALT=":)" OLDREF="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END-->
