Does anyone know if NTL has any Digital service in any part of Dublin at the moment, or has the whole thing been put on hold ? It seems that, despite the fact that they're delaying the introduction of the service, it hasn't stopped them digging up roads all over the place. Anyone got any info ?

Yep, the whole things on hold. NTL Ireland have run out of money for the upgrade - their parent company in London has diverted funds elsewhere (mainly to CWC).

They're now looking at new options (which I expect involve using the 20 year old ex-Cablelink network for one-way digital TV). Expect an announcement in the next few weeks.
