PDAs are talked about here so thought I'd highlight the new Dell Axim Pocket PCs have arrived on our shores (first released in US Q4 last year)

Two models approx Eur 300 and Eur 425 incl VAT and Delivery, difference is in processor speed and built-in memory. They (currently) have a 2 week lead time, but at that price a great deal for a Pocket PC, this is the unit that rocked the boat and is forcing a price drop in the previously high priced (compared to Palm) Pocket PC market.

They have both Secure Digital (SD) (memory only - not SDIO) and Compact Flash (CF) expansion, so you can add a Bluetooth CF or WiFi CF card to wirelessly enable them (although those options aren't on the dell.ie site as accessories yet - they can be got elsewhere). removeable battery is also a great option and a transflective screen (first seen in the iPAQ 39xx series)

    With some reviews here:

As the Axim's are at the larger end of the Pocket PC form factors (all those expansion slots take up space), and you are looking for a smaller (e.g. Palm m5xx) sized PocketPC there should be some news of the HP iPAQ 19xx model for Europe out soon, had a quick hands on with the US version and was very impressed (it doesn't support the expansion jackets though as it has a smaller form factor to the 3xxx and 5xxx iPAQs), there was a rumour the European model will have intergated Bluetooth (ref Infosync).
