£12 - EA's Best Buys compilation #4 ( SS2, DK2, Janes:WW2 Fighters, Rally something, Wing Commander Prophecy )
£19 - Kingpin

Some other good buys aswell but WARNING, Game is still an unbelievable rip-off and it's monopoly with EB is discouraging

Well In the last few weeks I saw three very good buys here in Cork , which I capitalised upon Natch

1: R6 Rogue Spear *R6:2* Platinum Edition + A lovely mouse for a meagre £13! , I found It mispriced In virgin In Cork, I think theyve rectified it though

2: Freespace 2+ plus 20 soso missions for a mere 15pounds within Gamezone cork , Best space sim ever ,even after a year , Bloody good.

3: Planetscape Torment . Not Countin Fallout + Fallout 2 *Best RPGs EVER! , old as the hills* , Its the best RPG after Baldurs gate two , for £13 not bad . Although Baldurs Gate Itself is available for £20 . Game and Virgin In cork respectively

Im also waiting for Virgin cork to throw thier Ground Control and Earth 2150 stock into that "2 for 4£0" Section ,two class games . Also ...Kingpin?..wheres that , I dont think Ive seen it on sale in Cork in a good year or so . And H&D..Its very good but in Retrospect , Id go for R6 , or Rogue spear if available

Also - Kingpin isn't worth 19 pounds. Wait for it to come down to 5 or at least 10.

Not out on budget yet : Hitman - Codename 47 will be a good buy at the 15-20 pound mark.

Serious sam, not sure when it's out or where, but it's a great bit of fun..... masses of pretty stupid but powerful enemies, reminds me of Doom Try the demo (available at www.croteam.com).

I actually saw the re-release of thief 2 on saturday when a few of us went to Game on grafton street from the CPLs kev, £15 I think, and in a nice DVD case too

Serious Sam , saw It in PCG , certainly a throwback to the Old days of Strafe n Gun ,Despite the reviews though , I doubt it could hold my intrest too long , I mean thats not to say the Basic FPS isnt fun ,I still give Doom II a crack now and again , but Only cos It still manages to scare the bejeesus outa ya occaisionally. Just doesnt seem to be much point to the game ...In doom you had a purpose...you were..Doomed!
