In workplaces, schools, colleges and pubs across the country it was possibly the most talked about event since september 11th.So what was your opinion?
Personally it was one of the few programmes I ever watched which I was disturbed by.It was compelling, rather than enjoyable. As in very interesting but not something you would say have you pleasure to watch.
Jackson was more disturbed than we ever imagined. In spite of his highly questionable bedroom practices with under age guests I just somehow doubt he is a child molester. He is an idiot, there is no doubt. But in spite of everything I believe he sees it as normal as due to the fact he seems to have the mental age of 10 he sees nothing wrong with sleeping with children of his own mental age.
He is weird, but despite the fact what he does with kids is wrong he seems to be too good natured to be a child abuser. He has many flaws but he cares about his devout fans and does seem to have a genuine concern for children. Its just that he shows it in a highly controversial way.But he just seems to be too nice a guy to harm children.Maybe Im wrong but thats my 2 cents.
Though I really feel sorry for his children. His baby looked afraid of him I thought. It was odd that he was close to tears recounting how he could never play ball with all the other kids when he was younger due to his celebrity status but yet his own kids are leading an even more reclusive life.
I was very suprised Michael didnt leave the final interview. He must have got a sh1tload of money for the show.I can see there being huge outcry in the states when it is shown on Friday.
The parts which disturbed me most was the scene where he holds hands with the boy-creeped me out. Also the scene where he was feeding an apparently frightened child. The kid looked terrified of him.
In short I think he is an extremely bizarre but genuine guy.He has alot of faults but he also has a good side that people have overlooked. As for the child abuse controversy I would go for a 60% chance that he never molested a child. His behaviour is bizarre with them,of that I have no doubt, but somehow I just think he is incapable of doing it.
Though as I said the scene where he and the boy hold hands is really unnerving.

One thing confused me-he claims he spends much of his free time writing songs.IIRC his last album was the first in something like 5 years and he was sued by his label for poor sales of Invincible last year.So WTF is he doing writing songs every day and bringing out an album once in a blue moon?Seems strange to me.

I can't really comment on the programme because, unfortunately, I was in the pub at the time it was shown (damn alcohol)
I have however, like many others been talked to about it and I've seen the clips on the news etc.

He does seem to be a little bit mental. I think that he would not be that open about his relationships with children if they were of a sinister nature. These types of people usually try and hide their "relationships". He makes no attempt to.

Could it be that he is completely innocent and really has just lost his touch with reality??

People can react very differnetly when put in certain situations. The apparent child abuse and the onset of huge fame at a very young age could have forced him into some sort of mental breakdown perhaps?? Maybe this is the result of huge stress and pressure?

As I said, I have yet to see the programme. What does anyone else think??
