I agree.... its refreshingly different, and ALOT of fun. Some of the songs and routines are absolutely brilliant.

And Richard Gere actually isn't bad (believe it or not).

Havn't seen it yet, but I remember seeing an intervies with Gere about the film.

He said he didn't mind the singing at all but he was very worried about having to learn to tap dance.

I thought it was one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. Bad story, bad music, not even the actors could save it.
