UTV SMTP server

    Is it just me or is the UTV SMTP server up and down like a hoors knickers lately?

    Yeah, it seems to be particularly bad today for some reason. Would it have anything to do with this planned change in account policy (90 days use it or lose it)

    I just spoke to the guys there, and the server has suffered some disk corruption and required a disk swap. They are hoping it will be back online around 7:30pm

    How can it take to replace a hard drive?
    The smtp server still isn't working.

    I thought I was going quite mad, I've just started using Opera 7 and thought somehow I'd
    got something wrong when translating the Opera 6 settings to 7!
    Phew....still annoying though.

    It's probably not as simple as just slotting in a new drive. Something has probably gone wrong as my email wasn't sending last night after 12...
