Mac Problems

    Hi, I use macs in college to access boards.ie, however when I try to load any of the pages it takes about 3 minutes for them to load. I use IE on the macs. I know it isnt a problem with the network as I use the pc's, when they are free and the pages load A OK......


    Any ideas?

    P.S The college has like 15 Pc's and a couple of hundred macs!

    Have you tried other browsers ie Safari, iCab, Navigator?

    The college technicans dont let us install anything, so that is out of the question ;)

    Have you tried switching off Java? Or Javascript, I never know which one is which.

    Also try switching to the minimalist skin on boards side to see if it is a download problem. That'll take away signatures and icons etc.
