Hi y'all, just wanted to clear up that the line-up is as follows - the 66 electric, Louise Byrne, Speedman, Doug Sheridan, The Maladies, Elton Mullally, Polar and Marie Keane. DJs Ali (Drum n' Bass) and Paddy (indie mayhem) in the bar. The gig is on in the Music Centre and its being organised like a glorious outdoor mini-festival yet within the obviously indoor venue. Admission is only €7 or €5 with student/good fake i.d.
With the magazine we are trying to do something for the Irish scene in general. Everybody is working on a volunteer basis to try and use their talents (writing, photography, web-design, music, humour...) to make something that is better than just the sum of its parts.
If you're passionate about some aspect of the music scene in Ireland and you want to get involved in some capacity check out the website (www.irismagazine.net) or e-mail stephanie (editor), justin (copy-editor - person for previews, reviews etc) or paddy (events) @irismagazine.net.
    Cheers,
Sorry this is so long but I think some of you might be interested?

it’s great to see a genuine interest in supporting and building up this scene. So best of luck to Iris. For anybody who’s into doing their bit for Irish music, I think this something definitely worthy of support!
