OK, sorry don't get the reference here.

Can you explain this a bit more for people who don't know whatever you're on about?

Otherwise if I can't get a reason or point to this thread i'm going to have to close it. No need for spam here.

'Nny is way better than Squee. The madness, the brutality, the horror all rammed into a mind attempting to find reason to its actions... Before his thoughts are diverted by something else. And he's bloody funny too, especially that arc when he was in heaven...

Ah OK I found reference to this....so it's OK. But if it's a straight question like that it would be better suited to a poll maybe.

i've only read a few squee comics...they're good, but i've read the whole JTHM series and theres no comparison.
NNY is brilliant..the violence and humour mixes perfectly with the anger and feeling :)

    so...does this mean NNY wins?

I guess so, i'm quite happy with the way it turned out, so nobody prefers squee

Ok... Squee IS undeniably better written and far better formed than nny... but NNY is THE GREATEST THING EVER! It had a spark of true genius in it that's just barely missing in Squee. So I've gotta go with Nny.

    Z?

as one who has minimal experience with either comic i guess my opinion could very easily be ignored, but in case anyone cares: i prefer squee

D-Generate: Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee!, both published by Slave Labour and both pretty readily available in any comic shop.

I've only read two issues of Squue! and it just... doesn't... click. Squee himself seems a bit of a one-trick pony (ie, get traumitised), and the thing about one-trick ponies is you only get one trick. It's the situations and one-off characters that take central stage then, and even though they're mostly all fantastic, the lack of a strong central character makes it feel like it's missing something. I'm getting way too deep into this.

Nny wins through, I suppose is what I'm saying.

Of course, the few strips that feature both characters interacting... well, they am de best!

(I Feel Sick's my favourite - psychic fat, burning teen vampires and a box full of monkeys! In colour!)

JTHM is not for the faint hearted... but it's just one look into a crazy persons head... and that person is indeed crazy!
