Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ADSL in Ennis in 8 weeks.

Last weekend, I emailed the Ennis Information Age Town people about DSL in Ennis. I got this reply.... Im after emailing him back asking about a cap on the service, so ill post that up here when i get the reply. :D :D :D

Last weekend, I emailed the Ennis Information Age Town people about DSL in Ennis.

I got this reply....

Eircom will be rolling out adsl NOT vdsl so that it will work anywhere in
Ennis (up to 4 miles from the ennis exchange), the cost will be ?45 + vat
per month for 1/2 a meg bandwidth. Vdsl boxes will not work with the adsl
network and Eircom will be rolling out the service in the next 5 - 8 weeks
in Ennis.

Its a 4 gig cap and it will be mid march IF it happens. Eircom have not agreed a wholesale price to offer adsl at this price yet.
