UK Broadband Market Increases by 30,000 a WEEK

    According to This press release by Oftel (the UK Telecoms regulator) , the takup of Broadband is 30,000 connections a week

    That means the the UK Broadband Market grows by the equivalent of 1000% of the Total Irish Market.........every week.

    It took us years to get to the 3000 mark too.

    Oftel also released their Quartely survey yesterday. Here is a snippet on how business has migrated to Broadband and why

    There is an item on BBC Radio Five on this now.

    They are attributing this to BT dropping the DSL wholesale rate to £15 last year.

    Amazing how ESAT BT say there is no demand for DSL in Ireland. :rolleyes:
