    can anyone shed light on why i cant connect to the daft.ie website??

    i have just starting looking for a place in dublin and i was going to use that as my main resource.
    Now what do i do????
    which papers should i get??

    iv tried the websites mentioned in the sticky, not having much luck.

    yeh its been like this the past few weeks, it seems to go down sometimes for random amount of hours, sometimes days at a time :(

    ive also handed in me notice and was using this as my main resource..


    as for newspapers to get =

    Evening Herald
    Irish Independant

    are about the only two that i know of

    thats one of the sites in the sticky, and i found it not to be very good. And organisation wise it aint :p

    That and the site is an eyesore :eek:

    All it is is the classifieds from Independant Newspapers (Herald, Indendepent).....

    ben to that page (checked the sticky) but as big chief said it aint that great. Although it was the best alternative to daft.ie.

    got some options from it but not as many as i would of got from daft.ie :(

    Daft are now charging for email alerts just to let you know.

    Works out at around €1.50 for alerts for 21 days.

    You get the add emailled to you a bit before it goes up on the site.

    I was wondering how they expected to make money.

    Irritating though now that I'm looking for somewhere.
