making a exe intstaller

    Any know know how to setup a installation exe? i know you can do one with winzip but it doesnt do enough :)

    put a .bat file inside the winzip self extractor. ya'd be amazed.

    Na dont see a .bat doing much!
    IM thinking theres some easy software out there for making it...easy and lazy being the key words here ;)

    Inno Setup will do everything you need and more, plus its free.

    winrar's self extracting .exe's are way handier than winzips, you can do stuff like choose a program to run when finished, create shortcuts (i think), give the .exe an icon of it's own, make a default path for extracting to...
    and you can make either a self extracting .zip or .rar (rar's compression is so much better)
    you should be able to find it on download.com
