I was in my local o2 shop over the weekend buying a new mobile for the otherhalf and just happened to see the T68i there. I had to check the price tag a few times, but no i wasnt dreaming. it was €470 on a 1 year contract. The T68i can be bought sim free for €300 if you buy it in from sites like mphone/expansys/mobilefly.

Then quit blubbering and buy one on-line :p

A year ago I went to buy a Nokia cable for my phone - the Nokia shop on Dawson Street, in Dublin, quoted me around €65, so I got it (incl. p&p) for around €45 from Expansys (and I saw it cheaper still two weeks later). Screwing the customer is a haulmark of the retail business in Ireland, not any individual company.
