HMmm..I thought DiscoStu would have replied by now he's a fan on ST emulation. You tried another emulator like Steem yet?

Yeah I've tried a few of em.
    all to no effect.
the fact I didnt own an ST might hinder me being able to run it proper.
It's more a favour to a mate but now I'm intriged by the games.

winuae is an amiga emu AFAIK

you might be better off dl'ing the files of the net. a lot of the disks (im sure you rememebr) used unusual formats and lead to probs.

will no games run at all?

WinSTon is the best one. Get it here: http://stew.atari.org/

Go to the Little Green Desktop for Games here: http://www.atari.st/

I'm pretty sure he knows to use images;) Yes WinUAE is an AMIGA emulator but it's a better system and had most of the same games (only better :) )

Put simply kick roms are the brains of an Amiga. They control all the devices connected both internally and externally to the Amiga computer or in the case of WinUAE emulate these devices on your PC.
You'll be needing the following kick roms.....;)
    1.3 (Amiga500)
    2.0 (Amiga600)
    3.1(Amiga1200)
