    Hey..
i borrowed m8s dvd/vcd/mp3 cd standalone dvd player
have it connected via phono (white, red and yellow ) to tv phono (white, red and yellow)
he purchased a load of vcds while he was over in australia..
    when i play them
    they play perfect
    but in black and white!

i play other vcds i have here
and they play fine in color..
i presume this is a region thing?

do i need a special cable or converter to
get the other region (i presume its ntsc) video cds to play in color?

    Cheers amigos!

If they're from Australia then they're most likely PAL, not NTSC... could be the way they were encoded though, there are a dozen different varieties of VCD, and maybe that DVD player doesnt play them all? Try playing it on a PC perhaps to double-check?
