Subject: Open: Eircom telephone survey re flat rate internet

I had a call this morning from someone doing a telephone survey
    for Eircom.

After a bunch of questions about my internet usage they asked several
    questions along the lines of:

If Eircom introduced a flat rate charge of X per month
for N hours usage per month would you use it
    (answer from 1-no to 5-definitely)

Where X and N had various values. Sadly I can't remember the values
now but one might have been around the 40 to 50 euro mark for 150 hours.
(I said I'd need to know what happened if I used more than that,
    but they didn't know.)

With hindsight it occurs to me that it wasn't clear if these were
Eircom phone charges or Eircom.net ISP charges or both.

They also asked about my interest in ADSL at various price levels
(high, but I'll be lucky to get it out here) and how much cheaper
rival ISPs would need to be for me to change (1% :-)

    Tim.
