    why do they spend 4.5million euro on the spike when that money can go to the students of hospital accident and emergency departments. not somewhere where it is not needed. and it looks stupid.

    Why did they spend...what was it? 90 mil on croke park and people are moaning about a 4 mil spike? Why would people care so much for football and get so pissed off at a spike? I think its a really good landmark and i'll walk down o'connell street smiling.
