    DAFUB

Komplett do not give this sort of technical information.

If you read the forum rules you will see this:
What this forum is not for:
It is not to be used for Technical Advice requests, which motherboard or graphics card should I buy, we have a perfectly good tech forum for that sort of question.

So I have moved your query to the Technology Forum.

    Regards

    Vex.

    >Is that a newer card after TI4600? I can't find many test of this card.

    Ti4800SE is basically a Ti4200 with 8X AGP capability.

    Ti4800 is a Ti4600 with 8X AGP.
    (groups.google.com)

It's quite a misleading product name and I couldn't find any reference to it either on the creative website or nvidia site. The 8x AGP is just extra expense as far as I know. Modern machines/processors/chipsets/something don't have the capability to send data to the card at more that 4x (1024 MB/s) so there's little point in buying an 8x motherboard or graphics card.

well seeing as its further up the gf4 line, you`d expect it to be better, but i`d wait until some reviews/benchmarks are available

it's equivelent to an old ti4400 with agp 8x

4800 is the 4600 with agp 8x and the 4200 with agp8x is just called 4200-8x

Tom doesn't seem to like linking to his gifs ....

    http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/200210041/index.html

The article comparse GF4 MX/ Ti4200 in 4x and 8x flavours. There are differences in decimal points only!!

I am lost with the names, manucaturers seem to have made up the new 4800 range and then forgotten about it. There is no reference to it on the nvidia website and on creative it can neither be found in the current products or tech support section!!

Suffice to say, don't buy it, go for a cheaper AGP 4 card :)

    Erk...........It's part of a bundle I 'm buying from kompett.ie
It said GF4 Ti4600 on the discription but when I looked at the exact specs it said
    "MSI AGP GeForce4 Ti4800SE 128MB DDR, TV-Out, Retail"
Me not impressed.............:(.......Maybe its an error
