Sending Free SMS over web to British operators- any sites??

    Anyone know any sites that I can send free sms over the web to someone in the London- they're on Virgin (I think they have somearrangment w/ T-mobile)

    Help appreciated :)

    I know http://freesms.net used to let you sms anyone on any network in the world a while back but it went comercial. Are you an o2 customer? if so just use their free sms - you get 500 per month. Or you could sign up to the iol.ie one and get 3 free sms per day. Click here

    i had forgtten about 02 and how you could send SMS outside Ireland-

    I normally use the iol/oceanfree option- but you can only use that for Ireland :)

    Lets hope the message was recieved ok :)

    it should be fine, i text the uk all the time with it and never have any problems

    You can send (and receive) unlimited text messages from ICQ. Works to any Irish network I think. You can send them from their site too, but not sure where exactly.

    www.icq.com is the main site addy anyway.
