Im quite new to the linux game, and having read back on some of this board have noticed that there are always people looking for distro`s.

Now seeing as its not viable to download them if you dont have a fat pipe, why not make a sticky of people here who will happily copy a distro for a mate.

It would also include there name, location and distro`s.

So people looking for linux can just pm a member.
Of course the nominal fee of a CD-R and time can be applied.

    Something like This

    username :bazH
    Location : Dundalk
    Distro`s : Mandrake 9(3cds), Red Hat 8(5cds), More coming(FreeBSD 4.x,5;))

    etc.

The main reason why i never tried linux was because i didnt have access to the distro`s(except the free ancient versions on cd covers)

    Thoughts?

This question has come up a fair bit recently.

Maybe a sticky along the lines of "Where can I get Unix/Linux from" would be in order.

A list of ftp mirrors, a link to the Linux.ie list of ILUG burners, etc.
