    Hello everyone

    111111
There have been some suggestions to do a Critical Mass
cycle just before the major anti-war rally planned in
    Dublin on 15 February.

Alternatively Critical Mass participants could cycle
along as part of the rally. One person mentioned that
cycling is an important part of reducing dependence on
oil, which contributes wars for resources.

Please email back with your views, and whether you
    would like to participate.

    222222
    The regular last-Friday-of-the-month Critical Mass
cycles will start again on Friday, 28 March, and we
really need people to volunteer a few hours to get the
    message across, such as:

Getting in touch with cyclists in your place of work
or study to encourage them to come along
Leafleting parked bicycles around the city
    Handing flyers to cycle commuters

If you can help, please get in touch.

Last month we asked if critical mass should take part
in the March against War on 15 February. The response
    was unanimously positive.

Many people made the point that cycling reduces
dependence on oil and can make resource wars like the
one planned by Bush and Blair less likely.

    WHAT YOU CAN DO…
BRING YOURSELF, your friends, and your bikes to the
Garden of Remembrance at 2pm on Saturday 15 February
and cycle along with the Critical Mass contingent.

PRINT AND DISTRIBUTE leaflets – content up to you, but
it might be a good idea to include a couple of basic
    points:
Cars + Oil = War, Bikes = Peace
    Critical Mass regular Last-Friday-of-the-Month cycles
    will resume on 28 March
To be notified about Critical Mass cycles, send a

(no spam, one email per month)

HELP PUBLICISE the resumption of Critical Mass – get
in touch with ideas, or if you are willing to help.

Show you're discontent with those crazy oil hungry yanks ....
and promote cycling of course :)
The national Anti-War Demonstration will take place
tomorrow, starting from the Garden of Remembrance at
    Parnell Square at 2pm.

A city for cyclists is a practical alternative to a
    war for oil.

The Critical Mass contingent will gather from 1.30pm
at the Hugh Lane Gallery, around the corner from the
entrance to the Garden of Remembrance. Bring yourself,
your friends, and make leaflets if you have a chance.

Remember, the march is likely to be very well
attended, so it may be necessary for cyclists to get
off and walk for much of the march. I think we won’t
    mind that this time!

Critical Mass still have a bad reputation - try to not make it worse lads, eh?

Plus there'll be people there only for the anti-war demo who couldn't care less about critical mass, so try not to drag them into any possible......scuffles.. :)
