Just curious what other people use for their online email and why you use that particular site. Might as well start the ball rolling I use Oceanfree.net because its free and can hold up to 5 megs. Its also fairly fast and after about a years use I haven't had any major problems.

Eircom (i cant help it, i like the webmail bit)
    Yahoo (pop accounts handy dandy)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,488 ✭✭✭Goodshape

    online.ie

There web-based stuff is actually very nice, but you can use the account with an email client aswell (not sure if this is the norm nowadays) - so I'd check my mail via the webpage while in college, then download the lot with pegasus when I get home.

Mail filtering and all that aswell, although I'm quite cautious about distributing my email addy, so I havn't had any need for it.

...oh yea, it free too. bonus. :)

I use my eircom email account for MSN. I don't think much people know that any address can be used for MSN/MSN Messenger, all you have to do is get a MSN "passport" (or something).

I use eircom.net (usually pop3), only use the web based part when away from my computer.

Used to use Hotmail, but I don’t like it with Outlook and when I didn’t use Outlook my account kept getting cancelled.

Yea but a flag pops up everytime you get a new email, though 99% of my hotmail emails are spam! Plus I'd have to transfer all my MSN contacts

I used to have more addresses than a small country but some die, some are just bastids who ask for money.
ireland.com and another.com being the money grabbers.

    atm i have addresses at
campus.ie (loads of room for e-mails and file storage)
beer.com (3mb only but the address is teh win)
budweiser.com (3mb only but the address is teh win)
whatthe****.com (this is an utter piece of ****, cant really compose an email and reading one can be hazardous to ones health, but the address is teh win)

had one at www.www.com aswell but it changed software and deleted my account, bastids.
