when i play 3d games, now and again i get the following error:

    Stop 0x000000D1

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

the file it lists is WDMCAPI.sys

    Blue screen I take it:

Get a different version of your drivers and change till you get more stability.

I went through a LAN crashing every
~60 mins because of dodgy drivers.

If you have ISDN installed it is possible that the drivers damaged or corrupt. Try re-installing or check for updated drivers. If you don't have ISDN it could be something you have added to your computer e.g USB peripherals. If not search for the file in your system as there might be multiple copies of it and you only need one in Windir\system32.
