does any1 know how long it takes a film screened on sky box office to be on sky premier or moviemax??

is there a certain length of time or is there different times for different movies?

is it worth getting a movie on sky box office ???

They seem to take about five months on average - most movies don't seem to come any faster or slower than this (and they often get pushed in on a Tuesday as you've probably noticed)

I wouldn't say it's worth getting a movie on Box Office unless you live very far away from an Xtravision - with the currency conversion it'll cost you about EUR7 a pop (though you do get to watch it again and again for the remainder of the day)

Sceptre: (though you do get to watch it again and again for the remainder of the day)

As you would with a Video Shop rental... (although XtraVision are doing 1 extra night free on new releases atm!)...

Speaking of Box Office, I coudn't believe the cost to view in Ireland Vs the cost in the UK for WWF (or whatever wrestling proggie was on the other day)..

It was something like £11stg in UK, and €22 in Ireland... Mad..

Not 100% certain but I thought that it was £14 in the UK and €22 which makes us slightly cheaper with todays exchange rate.

As far as I know this is how long it takes to film to show up on TV.

6 months after the release of the movie in the cinema it comes out on video rental.

6 months later it comes on Pay Per View TV. (Sky Box Office, NTL Front Row)

6 months later (18 months after the original cinema release) they are shown on the movie channels (Sky Premier, Sky Movie Max).

Finally, 3 years after the original cinema release they are shown on terrestial TV.

my bad - I was counting the number of months from the video/DVD release (not the cinema release) for some reason.
