Because we were a good free kick taker from getting to the all ireland final last year. We will go one step beet this year, and I hope it is Kerry again in the final. I thought we were destined to have our first Dublin Kerry final in a long time last year.

I dont think lander was knocking stingray...just pointing out how close we were to Allireland Glory.

But your dead right Tipp....Ray Cosgrove was fantastic last summer..hope a repear of the same when he comes back.

Alany you are right, I was not haveing a go at Ray I think he had a great season last year. In fact i applaud him for having the balls to step up and take the frees in the absence of a deadball specialist, but I think he will be the first to admit that there are better free kick taker out there then him. Tipp you were the one who mention Ray, not me. Please do not put words in my mouth. By the way I was commenting on all Dublins championship games, not just the one kick. I think Alany will agree that noone consistently scored from frees for Dublin during the championship, and StingRay was not the only one to try.

are ya kiddin..we havent had a kicker since charlo redmond !

So many have tried, there was a lot of hope behind Darcy but he was **** too. Cirian whelan can kick them and paddy Christy is fantastic at dead balls.....Bring christy forward for every big kick i say...darren Homan is a fantastic full back he could cover for paddy christy if he gets caugh out.

Paddy christie with Homan covering is a good idea, except Homan was on the bench and coming on as a sub for a good few of the matches last season. Pity because the year before he was one of the best player Dublin had. Whelo can take them but is accuaracy is only average.

yeah your right....but Im sure what ever mid fielder is playing with whelo could cover for paddy if he gets caught out
