a girl in was saying in her's sons class there was 3 cases of ring-worm, they then got onto worms

and then they(her and a friend) got onto worms
and told me that there was a thing called taper-worm, that lived in people's stomach.

Well I was wondering how do you know if its there??
    are there odvious symptoms??
as I'm mad paranoid now.. as they thought mad me really sick

It's quite difficult to tell. If you seem to eat loads but don't put any weight on you may have tapeworms which live in your intestines. They hook on to the walls and suck up all that good nutritious... digestibles!

I wouldn't worry about them unless you really do think you have them. There are millions of things living on and inside you by the way - if you could see every living being on your body it would give you a wee fright. But a lot of them help us and clean us.

well, stomach worms can often by killed by Livirox (I think it's called), or a one-tablet cure, both of which can be bought over the counter. Ask the chemist, though I can appreciate that this could have an embarassing aspect to it.

However, they are pretty heavy on the stomach, so your better off going to the doctor first in case it does any damage.

Syptoms are an ichy bottom and grumbling stomach, and eating but still being hungry

you make them sound so appealing! tapeworms...the latest fad diet!

i'd describe the procedure of getting them out but i think the original poster might faint. (maybe its not tapeworms im thinking of, but there's one worm that grows the length of your intes...i better just stop here)

i think some of the worm tablets are quite dangerous though, i remember my mum was going to give us all a dose of worm tablets when we were younger and then stopped after she read all the sideaffects on the packet.

Slim fast is actually a kind of natural worm thing
these 'worms'-if they can be called that- eat up the fat in your stomach amd die away - not doing any harm

if you don't believe me, make a slim fast drink - and leave it there for a few hours

The best way of knowing if you have a tapeworm is if you can see worm segments in your faeces.

I have one, felt sorry for him, so I call him Bob.

my friends mum had a tapeworm once and im pretty sure it made her quite quite sick so you'd prolly know if you had one. but as said earlier, early signs of tapeworm are eating loads yet losing weight and stuff like that.
