Resurected clothes

On my daily lunch trip up Grafton Street
me and a mate noticed this jacket
commented we hadnt seen them in a few years and we cudnt resist using the auld nokia 7650 (godsend)
anyway wondering do you remember them or did you have one ?

I rememer them alright, but thankfully I didn't own one!:D That thing should be dead and buried along with Xworks jeans and bermuda shorts....*Shudder

I probably had one of those coats..naff by name, naff by nature methinks. God bless the early 90s!

Not as bad as some of the gear that was out though...silk tracksuits now they were terrible and a fashion crime I am also guilty!

I was proudly bedecked in Joe Bloggs, Juice (and the occasional NAFFco top) together with my 28" bottom baggies in '91 / '92.

All I remember about those hideous Jackets is really reallly wanting one!
I was in primary school at the time and every single one of my classmates (or so I thought) had one of these God for saken jackets. Some of them had fake ones bought in the very exclusive Doones Boutique (thats Dunnes Stores to you and I) and some had the very coveted real ones.
I, in my very primary school angst ridden phase was absoloutley distraught when my mother, a very sensible woman, told me that I couldn't have one!

The other thing I wanted more than anything was a pair of REAL converse basketball boots!
Oh the beauty of trainers!

Juice and Joe Bloggs were top, a little Gio Goi was nice as well. Not too distasteful. Naff was well naff though, never went near those. Poor chap.
