It's rto prevent piracy of Lucas arts games.

In dos run the *.bat file to run the game and not the .exe file. I think it's monkey2.bat. Then always use 2 & 3(or is it 3 & 2????) for the values in the lamo-copy.

Lucutus has a strict rule in the Music / Radio forum that it may not be used for the promotion of illegal mp3 sites, for information on how to obtain copyrighted music for free, and such, and he's absolutely right to do so as it keeps boards.ie out of all sorts of legal wranglings.

Is there not a necessity for a similar rule regarding the linking to or reccommending of warez sites such as that mentioned above???

Check the abandonware sites. They tell you if it's warez or not.

Some companies still maintain (c). Like Lucas arts are very fussy about it.
