Command-Line mp3 encoder?

(2+2=4) I have my hands on a command-line mp3 player, so I just need an encoder to stick my favourite CDs into my uber 1337 new PC stereo. Anyone know of a decent one? MP3 encoder: LAME
You'll also need a CD audio ripper: cdparanoia

LAME is a good encoder.

LAME is also licenced under the LGPL making it about as free as free gets.
