ye it looks like all changes including new forum's like broadband and one of the games one aswell have gone missing, as it seems to have reverted to the drop down menus of a couple of months ago.

I followed the todo list that was on boards.ie while it was being moved. I still can't find that room with the blue roof though... :D

I was quite upset by the mere suggestion of validating input.

If it comes from a user... the input is invalid plain and simple.

My user inputs only exist to give the users the illusion I'm going to even take any notice of their input.... when clearly being user input the appropiate place for it is /dev/null.

    mmmm /dev/null

Backups are good. (explains why the dB went offline too)

Once had to recode the half of the entire backend of a site after someone deleted it all by accident.

He had written all the original code, so it served him right ;)

[Approx 36 hours of flat out coding over 2 days by the 2 of us to bring it back]

As a matter of interest ... approx how many mails in the 5 mins? ;)
