I think the admins forgot to announce it and I'd frankly forgotten all about it too until I came across the code I knocked up for it this morning.

Anyhow, simple enough WML 1.1 listing of the last 15 items posted on boards at the above link. If anyone has any feedback, fire ahead.

[edit]Upps, I meant to post this to the Wireless board - Talliesin, Trojan? Could either of you bump it over?[/edit]

Just gave it a whirl. Works very nicely. This is the first (and only) 'killer app' that I've seen on WAP !;)

At the very least, it's the first time I've used WAP on my 'phone. Well done!

Does anyone even use WAP any more?

I used to do some WAP site development when I worked in an ecommerce company... made a site for a certain grocery store chain that allowed you to order your lunch through your mobile phone via WAP. It was pretty good, but they never actually advertised it or made any use of it, unfortunately.

I guess each of the topics on the Boards WAP page there could be linked to a page which shows just the last one or two replies in the thread (instead of the whole thing) ...? Just a thought...

BTW, FYI... WAP pages can be viewed in the Opera web browser.

The wap subdomain hasn't been mapped onto the relevant folder yet following the move to the new server. Until that's done you'll be able to get it at www.boards.ie/wap/

I tried it last night and it said "this object has moved" and gave me a link to where it had moved. when I followed the link it brought me to mobileporn.com. which was a surprise.
