    Yes.. i know the thick &^£$*& £

i bought her one for x-mas, and she only rang me now , how do i work it etc..

threw out the reciever which she claimed wasn't in the box, ahem B>S>

how would one go about getting just the reciever?

i don't think she has the box, a bit of social engineering is required i think

HMV aren't going to buy it, no box, no reciever and no reciept

shes in deep ****, isn't she?

Was it purchased with a Credit Card? That affords you a level of proof of purchase.

She could try going to HMV, tell them she bought it (depending on her age, tell them she bought it for kids) for a Xmas present and doesnt have the reciept but it didnt include the reciever. Since she believes that anyway, she should be able to put up a good argument. If she merely asks for an exchange, they will be more open than if she demands a refund.

I was to say seomthing like

    POP A CAP INDA MO'FO

but that's not going to help, is it? So I'm glad I didn't say it.

Really, *really* tough break. Could you write to NOE begging for a replacement, if all else fails?

take it off or i'm telling admin

Where did you pull that quote outta? Post what i really said and set the record straight.

Why didnt you just copy it out the PM instead of wasting time typing it out and then getting it wrong?

    Make things easy for yourself.

    wannabe mods

Who mentioned the word mod? Why did you bring this up?
Clearly you want to be a mod or have mod fetish dreams.

It was more along the lines of:

"Please remove it or they will have to contact admin"

They, being the people who care enough to inform admin, eg. Not Me.

Ryo, when myself or one of the other mods wants you to start telling people on this board how to behave, you'll know about it. How will you know? Because we'll say "Hey Ryo, would you mind pretending to be a little Hitler mod for the day on perfectly reasonable threads please? Just this once?".

Until the day when you receive this stirring call to arms, please desist from being an utter knob. Thank you.

    ??

listen ryo that is uncalled for,

it was simply some constructive criticism, others pm'd in a nicer way

i don't see how i was so nasty to you

if i offended you in anyway please accept my apology :)

I guess im just a bit tired. Sorry if i cant design good PM's.
    Shinji's attack was unnecessary.

No, it was not. I'm sick to the gills of certain posters on this board thinking it's their place to tell others how to behave - and your snide little comment about another users sig in the middle of an unreleated thread is a perfect example.

Admittedly, theciscokid should rein in his responses as well, because it certainly takes two to tango.

If you don't have anything constructive to say, don't bloody well say anything.

Thread locked as I very much doubt there's going to be any constructive input on lost wavebird receivers here, and I want to kill this stupid squabbling now.
