Keyboard & Mouse

Hi, I have a old Performa 5200. There are some old contact details on it I would love to access again, sadly my genius sister left it under a open window one rainy day :rolleyes:

In short the computer was fine but the keyboard was busted. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could lend or give me a keyboard and mouse to use the computer again.

In return I can give a load of old software

Sam & Max hit the road as well as Day of the Tenticle are in there

Is the mouse ok?

If so, the mouse uses the same kind of port (ADB) as the keyboard, so just plug it directly into the Mac. You should be able to get around the system pretty well with the mouse on it's own.

If it's only just to get something off it, should be easy enough to do with just the mouse.

I need the keyboard, At Ease (Do they still have that ?) Is set up on the machine so you need a password to get around

There must be hundrends/thousands of those keyboards lying idle nationwide. Where are you?

I dunno, if you know anyone with a Mac, they'll know someone else with a Mac, who might know someone else....

Any Mac up to mid 1998 should have an ADB keyboard.

im in finglas, I dont think i have a spare keyboard and mouse

hey, if you buy one of the G3's off me, you can use the KB on both!!!
