learning the mac and repairs

    right basicly im going to try and teach myself as mutch about the mac as possible

    any guides n stuff around to get basics ? and then is there anywhere in ireland that gives training in mac etc...

    im fairly up on the pc side of things but im getting asked a lot of stuff about macs and i just have to try and do a best guess senario with them so would like to know what im on about

    The beauty of using the Mac is that you shouldn't need any training. It's simplicity in itself!!

    Your best bet for training would be to check out Apple's own website here or do a search on Google for "apple training" or something similar.

    A lot of people gain Mac experience by doing a basic DTP course. FAS hosts one of the better DTP courses around.

    also, just like with PC's, if you have the cash, get hold of a few oldies and kill, and then re-incarnate um!

    also, get a mac emulator for your PC. they dont have PowerPC sorted yet, but youll have the fastest 68k mac ever!!!

    basilisk is by far the best mac emu, and its portable too!
