IBB RTE tower ping times

Could anyone on IBB's RTE tower service put up some ping times for the first hop (to their default gw) and for clarity.jolt.co.uk. 10 pings at least.

I'm getting ridiculous ping spikes, and I'd like to know if this is standard or if my connection is set up badly. I have tested this on 3 different pc's (and operating systems) and of course when I'm not downloading anything. As it is, I'm still using my ISDN for league games.

These are the ping times of the first hop on my irishbroadband 1mbit connect

PS I know I've complained about IBB quite a bit, but if you're in the coverage area, they're great value. I'm just not convinced about gaming with them yet :)

    258 is ridiculous on a 1mbit connection

Do these spikes happen all the time or certain hours? Kevok has IB to and has superb pings

    atmospheric conditions prehaps?

That sudden spiking seems very fúcked up alltogther.

Your getting an awful lot of packet loss.. looks like quite an unstable connection. Maybe there is a lot of noise in the 2.4ghz spectrum in your area?

yep, the spikes happen all the time, although sometimes they arent quite as bad (still bad though). I'm not on the same equipment as kevok, which is why I particularily want RTE tower pings. He's on 802.11b, and a different transmitter.

I'm only 500 metres from the transmitter, so noise shouldn't be too much of a problem tbh. Unless some evil **** has setup a microwave factory next door to me :)
