well my parents have asked me if i would be able to setup a e-pos system into there shop for them . firstly i need to find where i can get the components and software for this im just looking for help in finding the stuff a quick serch in google is showing loads of epos things but not what im after dose anyone know of…

Software side its worth checking out linux. Mandrake 9.0 has an e-pos app on their cd bundle afaik and I'm sure it can be linked to mysql database etc. Only problem is its a bit daunting if you've never used linux before. Worth a look though.
