Does anyone have any idea what Gaiman's 1602 is all about. He mentions it on his blogger but has still to reveal even the slightest detail about it.

The title of Neil Gaiman’s upcoming Marvel Universe comic is 1602. But what does it mean? I’ve been told it's a reference to the manuscript "The City Of The Sun" by Italian writer Tommaso Campanella, written in 1602. The story tells of a utopian city built and lived in by seemingly perfect beings. One might presume 1602 will tell a similar tale. But with The Thing, Daredevil and Mr Fantastic...

    .......or maybe not?

Thanx for that. That helps clarify things for me a bit. I'm looking forward to it - he hasn't done a comic book in ages.

Cool teaser images for 1602 on www.newsarama.com/1602.htm if anyone's interested. I for one can't wait!

Neil Gaiman? Didn't / doesn't he write Lucifer?

Looks interesting alright. Think someone mentioned something about looking at 1602 backwards (i.e. 2061) which someone else said is the 100th anniversary of the Fantastic Four.

    *shrugs*
