I don't have a satellite but want to be able to watch the Spanish station TVE. Anyone know of any alternative methods?

Erm, the best you can do is the Link channel on NTL cable... they have the main evening TVE news at 9:45pm each night. (That channel is Nickelodeon during the day)

Sky Digital will not keep you happy. No Spanish channels on it.

Why don't you set up a campaign to get 24 hour TVE from ntl Chorus and ntl?

After all thousands of Irish go to Spain every summer without as much as one word of Spanish...
These people could spend two evenings a week during the winter attending Spanish classes at local VEC colleges or Community schools and then spend the other evenings watching Spanish tv thanks to ntl or Chorus (if one lives outside Dublin, Galway or Waterford)....
Maybe then they might discover the real Spain, get up early and evict the Germans from the beaches by day and actually realise that Spanish people live and speak their own language in their own country.
What is so wrong with speaking to the natives in their own language......?

I am sure Chorus and ntl would love to help out in this laudable objective......

    and yes I am serious....
