Can someone give me the frequencies for RTE1, Network2, TV3 and TG4 as I have a friend who is out in Beirut and they brought along their digibox, they can get all the other channels but they cannot get the the channels listed above as they do not know the correct frequencies etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You cannot get the RTE channels on anything other than an Irish
Family pack or higher, and on this package, they actually appear on the EPG.
So if they dont appear on the EPG they have the wrong card to receive RTE.

Thankyou very much DMC! Will that get all of the Irish channels? He is subscribed to the top package by the way.
Yes he does have an Irsh Digibox hooked up to a 2m dish. He was saying that he can only acces the channels by tuning them in on other channels, the EPG does not work which is strange.

Yes it is. What is the first channel on his EPG lineup?

I doubt if the 2d footprint would allow reception that far east. He is probably not receiving the EPG info either.

You need about 3m dish to get RTE transponder in Cyprus.
I boggle at size of Dish in Lebannonnn

A lot of Greece is more North & East than Cyprus so not quite so bad.

If the RTE channels are not appearing on the EPG, they wont appear in 'other channels' anyway.
If the RTE listings are not appearing in the EPG, then the card is the wrong card. (Not an Irish card)
Channel listings come from the same source for all Sky channels, do they not?

My mate can get RTE Radio 1 over in Beirut, would this mean he has some chance of getting the Irish Televison channels also?

No. RTÉ Radio 1 is broadcast on 2 transponders, and its the WRN feed (at 12344 H) that is on the EPG at 892. This transponder has a wider footprint that the TV tp. RTÉ Radio 1 also has a feed (in stereo) on its main tranponder, (at 10744 H) with the TV and other RTÉ radio channels, but this is not used on the EPG.
