    Hey guys,
    I know this is a longshot but is their somebody out there who can obtain an fta card for me please? id be willing to reimburse you financially for it, this is my last hope of eveer seeing utv/ch4 again,thanks

    You need a friend or relative in Northern Ireland or GB. They apply to the BBC for a free card and you give them the serial no. of your box for activation.

    also, you would be better off waiting a while to see what comes to pass as regards Sky changing the viewing cards in the next few months, no point going through the whole process twice.

    My friend in Northern Ireland has an FTA card but would love to get the RTE channels on his digibox. Can they be programmed on "Other channels"? Does anybody know the codes?

    Thanks for that guys but i dont have any uk relatives or know anybody in the uk,so if there is anybody on the board who cud get me a card or even let me use their address to send the card to it would be extremely appreciated!

    The quick answer is No.

    The longer answer is No. Not possible.

    The elongated answer is No. Not possible. RTÉ, TV3 and TG4 are only available to Sky subscriptions down here, and not in the North. You'll get an "08" screen if you went via other channels.

    Not to be rude but two chances of success with this and slim is out of town. Try emailing the guys at http://www.knplogic.co.uk/JUBBLY/ , I think they only sell card and box packages though
