Is anyone interested in doing a comparison of a selected range of products and services from within Euroland?
It would involve making a list of 20-30 products from different shops, for example Aldi (direct comparison possible), Tesco (comparable to similar supermarkets in Europe), pubs, hairdressers, car dealerships, etc. etc.

    Be intresting to c alright.

I heard in Bulgaria a full dinner for 4 people at a restaurant only cost 15 euro or sumthing like that.

    Hate to try that here.

I know countries really varie with prices though. Im dutch and car insurance is way cheaper over there but other things be more expensive.

If you ask me it all kind of balances out.

I think a good comparison survey would be the difference between Irish cigarette prices and other EU countries.

That's due to tax, plain and simple.

i was in paris recently and I was shocked at how cheap things were. in the supermarkets, everything is still priced in both currency, but they are not rounded to a euro friendly value like they are here. its a pity shops and supermarkets would adapt they same policy here. this transparency would allow shoppers to see more clearly how prces have changed.
